After receiving my degree in civil engineering from Virginia Tech, I worked for larger consulting engineering firms as a water and wastewater design engineer.  I have followed that up with work  in residential construction, working in many roles from project manager to painter, framer to finish carpenter.  I enjoy wearing many hats, and I think it has made me a more well rounded designer. 

The Blue Fox Story

As a building contractor, I noticed an underserved community in need of engineering services.  Smaller clientele often get lost in she shuffle of the bigger consulting firms.  I also noticed that many consulting firms are most experienced with water systems of over 100,000 gallons per day.  Their design teams just aren't familiar with the simple solutions available to smaller systems.  This means many systems become over-designed, bypassing standard solutions available at the local plumbing supply house for complex custom hardware.  

Blue Fox Engineering is my response to that need.  Simple, smart solutions, delivered efficiently.
